HOPE VALLEY — Troopers arrested Johnathan Beckford, 20, of 138 Broadway, Norwich, Connecticut on Monday at 8:15 p.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks.
Beckford was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, conspiracy, larceny over $1,500 and reckless driving.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Trooper Richards.
Beckford was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
In a separate incident Monday at 10:05 p.m., troopers arrested Iraida Cabana, 45, of 8 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for driving with a suspended license special circumstances.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in West Warwick.
Cabana was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held at State Police Headquarters pending morning arraignment.
