OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Police are seeking to identify a masked individual who stole a decorative mushroom from a local candy shop.
The Old Orchard Beach Police Department said the mushroom decoration was recovered but sustained damage beyond repair.
Police posted on social media asking the “Oompa-Loompa who took the mushroom from the candy shop” to come forward.
The department said they have obtained a clearer photograph of the masked suspect and would like to speak with the individual.
No details were provided about when the theft occurred or the value of the damaged decoration.
