FAIR HAVEN — Police arrested five Rutland residents in connection with a vandalism investigation that began last year.
Bradley M. Bishop, 21, was arrested Aug. 12 on a charge of unlawful trespass.
Kayla L. Stevens, 19, was arrested July 31 on a charge of unlawful trespass.
An 18-year-old male was arrested Aug. 11 on charges of unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass.
Hayden J. Pillon, 19, was arrested Aug. 11 on charges of unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass.
Jacob A. Ackert was arrested Aug. 11 on a charge of unlawful trespass.
Police were called to Scotch Hill on Aug. 21, 2024, for a report of vandalism to a building.
The property owner reported extensive graffiti to his building and said the property is legally posted prohibiting trespassing.
The owner told police he had captured images of the people responsible.
After identifying and locating the suspects, police interviewed them and said they were cooperative.
All suspects were released on citations to appear in Rutland District Court or Rutland Family Court at a future date.
