COHOES — The New York State Police, in coordination with the Cohoes Police Department, are actively investigating a homicide that occurred on Earl Lynn Court in Cohoes on Sept. 14.
Investigators advise the public that the suspect, Anthony G. Bechand, age 53, remains at large and may be armed and dangerous.
Bechand is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
His clothing description is unknown.
He is believed to have been traveling in a white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado.
That vehicle was located earlier today on County Route 60 at the intersection of County Route 86 in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County.
Anyone who has seen Bechand or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the New York State Police at 518-897-2000.
