Shoreham man arrested on domestic assault charges

SHOREHAM — A 38-year-old man was arrested on domestic assault charges after state police responded to a family fight Sept. 13.

Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were notified by dispatch at approximately 10:49 p.m. of a domestic incident in Shoreham.

Investigation revealed that Dustin Griffith had placed another person in fear of serious bodily injury or death, according to Vermont State Police.

Griffith was arrested without incident and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.

He was charged with domestic assault, reckless endangerment and criminal threatening.

Griffith was lodged with conditions at the Marble Valley Correctional Facility on $600 bail.

He is scheduled to appear at Addison County Superior Court on Sept. 15 at 12:30 p.m.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of domestic or sexual violence.
