AUSABLE — State Police responded to a reported robbery and assault at a residence on State Route 22 on Sept. 12 at about 8:45 a.m.
A male resident of the home reported to troopers that a male suspect entered the home, struck him with a long gun, and then fled on foot.
The victim was transported to Champlain Valley Physicians’ Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
State Police are continuing to search for the suspect, who the victim described as a white male, about 5’6″ tall, wearing camouflage clothing and a black mask.
State Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call Troop B headquarters at 518-897-2000.
