Manchester police arrest man, seize drugs and firearms in Prospect Street raid

MANCHESTER — The Manchester Police SWAT Team executed a state-issued search warrant at 29 Prospect Street, Apartment 1L on Sept. 11.

The warrant was the result of an investigation by the Manchester Police Anti-Crime Unit and the ATF NH Violent Crime Task Force.

During the search, officers arrested 43-year-old Ashton Cadet.

Large amounts of illegal drugs, including cocaine, crack, fentanyl, ecstasy/MDMA, amphetamines, mushrooms, and marijuana, were recovered.

Officers also seized more than $23,000 in cash and four firearms.

Cadet was charged with Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Felonious Use of a Firearm, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell.

He was scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Manchester District Court.
