Fire damages Dollar General in Georgia

GEORGIA — Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze that damaged the exterior of a Dollar General store Friday afternoon.

The Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit was contacted by the Georgia Fire Department about the fire on the back side of the store at 864 Ethan Allen Highway at 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Members of the investigation unit responded to assist the fire department and conducted an investigation into the origin and cause of the fire.

The cause remains under investigation.
