CONQUEST — Sheriff Brian Schenck reports that on Sept. 2 at 10:15 p.m., members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shawn M. Farrell, age 30, for resisting arrest.
On Sept. 2 at approximately 10:02 p.m., members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office responded to Spring Lake Road in the Town of Conquest for a report of a fight.
Upon arrival, it was determined that one party, Shawn M. Farrell, had an active arrest warrant out of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
While attempting to place Farrell in custody, a brief struggle ensued.
Once Farrell was in custody, he was transported back to the PSB, where he was processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Conquest Court on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
Farrell was then turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office on their arrest warrant.
