CHARLTON — State Police of Saratoga arrested Douglas H. Hyson, 70 of Charlton, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the third degree on Sept. 7.
At about 8 a.m. Sept. 7, Troopers were notified that property reportedly stolen from a business in Rotterdam had been located outside a residence on Dawson Road in Charlton.
The investigation determined Hyson allegedly possessed stolen Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment valued at more than $3,000 on his property.
The stolen property had been reportedly taken from the Rotterdam business on Sept. 6.
Hyson was arrested at his home and transported to SP Charlton for processing.
He was arraigned at the Charlton Town Court where he was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
