HAVERSTRAW — The Haverstraw Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday, Sept. 9, at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Clove Avenue in the Village of Haverstraw.
The victim has been identified as Muhssia King, 22, of Haverstraw.
King was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle when he was approached by an unknown number of suspects.
Multiple rounds were fired into the vehicle, striking King several times.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No motive has been determined at this time.
The Haverstraw Police Department is working closely with multiple law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation.
