WATERFORD — Detectives from the Street Crime Unit arrested Gene L. Walker, 33, of Waterford, Connecticut, after he was stopped on Route 9 southbound near exit 10 on Sept. 5.
Walker was uncooperative with detectives during the stop, refusing to exit his vehicle when asked and attempting to put up his window at one point.
Detectives seized a large amount of cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl along with a large knife from Walker.
He was also found to be in possession of drug packaging materials and a scale.
Walker was charged with operating with suspended registration, operating without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell over half-ounce cocaine, operating a drug factory, three counts of possession of narcotics, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and interfering with an officer.
Walker was presented at Middlesex Superior Court on Sept. 8.
