GREENWICH — The Greenwich Police Department assisted the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in the execution of a court-signed, fully extraditable arrest warrant on the west side of town at approximately 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The warrant was issued for a violent fugitive wanted in connection with an attempted murder case.
The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.
There is no ongoing threat to the community.
