BERWICK — The Berwick and South Berwick Police Departments, Berwick and South Berwick Fire Departments and Stewarts Ambulance responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 236 near its intersection with New Dam Road on Friday at 8:36 p.m.
A 2008 Acura sedan left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Speed appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
The female operator and lone occupant of the vehicle, Jessica Peloquin, 37, of Dover, New Hampshire, was killed in the collision.
The road was closed until about 2 a.m.
