NORTH TONAWANDA — The North Tonawanda Police Department arrested a 41-year-old man Thursday after he allegedly fired a shotgun at a neighbor’s garage.
Curtis N. Dubke of North Tonawanda was charged in connection with the incident that occurred on 15th Avenue on Aug. 29.
Police responded to a report of property damage where the victim said they believed someone had shot at their garage after finding a shotgun slug lodged in the structure.
The North Tonawanda Police Detective Bureau investigated and determined Dubke was responsible for the damage.
Police said Dubke is a convicted felon who is prohibited from possessing firearms.
During the investigation, officers recovered two long guns from Dubke’s residence.
Dubke was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a class D felony; fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor; and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in North Tonawanda City Court where bail was set at $2,500.
Dubke is being held at the Niagara County Jail.
