Transient man cited for violating abuse order in Franklin

FRANKLIN — Vermont State Police were contacted Sept. 4 at 6:30 p.m. by the protected party of a Final Relief from Abuse Order who reported a violation.

The protected party reported that David T. Johnson, 25, a transient, had violated the order on Middle Road.

Following an investigation, police determined Johnson had violated the order.

Johnson was issued a citation Sept. 5 to appear at Franklin Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m.

Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
