MIDDLESEX — A 61-year-old Middlesex man was arrested Sept. 5 following a reported assault with a weapon.
Thomas R. Pierson of 1217 State Route 245 was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree menacing, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to 1217 State Route 245 at 7:09 p.m. for a report of an assault with a weapon.
Investigation determined that Pierson had a physical altercation with another adult male who sustained multiple injuries during the incident, sheriff’s officials said.
Pierson was arrested and transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building to await centralized arraignment processing.
The New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
