Woman arrested on second DUI charge after speeding in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A Lancaster, New Hampshire woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time after being stopped for speeding on Severance Hill Road on Sept. 5.

Sarah Kenison, 38, was clocked driving 62 mph in a 35 mph zone at 8:58 p.m., according to a Lyndonville Police Department press release.

A patrol officer stopped Kenison’s vehicle near the intersection with Red Village Road.

Kenison displayed signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested on suspicion of second-offense DUI, police said.

She was released to a sober party after processing and issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court.

Kenison is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 22 at 8:30 a.m.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department assisted with DUI processing.
