STARKSBORO — Vermont State Police arrested a Bristol man on a domestic assault charge after receiving a report Sept. 4 at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Chase Gibbs-Emilo, 25, of Bristol, was charged with second degree aggravated domestic assault.
Investigation revealed Gibbs-Emilo had placed a partner in fear of immediate serious bodily injury, police said.
Gibbs-Emilo turned himself in at the New Haven Barracks on Sept. 5 at approximately 10:38 p.m., where he was arrested and processed.
Gibbs-Emilo was issued a citation to appear at Addison County Superior Court on Sept. 8 at 12:30 p.m.
He was then transported to Marble Valley Correctional Facility and lodged on $2,500 bail.
Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of domestic or sexual violence.
