KENT — The Kent Police Department received a 911 dispatch to Route 52 near Towners Road for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 4:25 p.m. Thursday.
Kent Police Officers along with Kent EMS, Lake Carmel Fire Department, Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies, New York State Police and Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services responded to assist at the scene.
One victim was transported to Danbury Medical Center.
The accident is under investigation and Route 52 will be closed from Towners Road to West Lakeshore Drive for some time.
