Moravia man arrested in Plattsburgh on stolen credit card charges

PLATTSBURGH — New York State Police arrested Christian A. Reynolds, 28, of Moravia, on Sept. 2 on four counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree.

Troopers were contacted by the Saranac Lake Police Department at approximately 9:13 a.m. on Sept. 1, requesting assistance with a larceny complaint.

The investigation revealed that Reynolds had credit cards that did not belong to him.

The victim had their wallet stolen, and the credit cards were being used at various stores and a hotel.

Further investigation determined that Reynolds used one of the stolen credit cards at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Plattsburgh, as well as at several locations in Plattsburgh, where fraudulent transactions occurred.

Reynolds was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing.

He was subsequently arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court, where he was released on his own recognizance.
