Providence man arrested on hit-and-run, stolen goods charges

LINCOLN WOODS — Troopers arrested a Providence man Thursday on charges of duty to stop in accident resulting in bodily injury and receiving stolen goods.

Dwayne Silva, 44, of 36 Chambers Street, Providence, Rhode Island, was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 4 on an affidavit and arrest warrant.

The charges stem from an original investigation into the hit-and-run incident and stolen goods case.

Silva was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
