FAIRFAX — A 16-year-old driver from Georgia escaped injury after hydroplaning and leaving the roadway on Interstate 89 South Thursday evening.
Vermont State Police troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash near mile marker 112 at 8:02 p.m.
The juvenile was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V when the vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway and left the road, causing rear-end damage to the vehicle.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The airbags did not deploy and no injuries were sustained.
It was raining at the time of the crash and road conditions were wet.
