PERSIA — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects Sept. 2 following a high-speed chase through three townships that began while assisting Buffalo police with an armed robbery investigation.
Deputies were searching for a vehicle involved in an armed robbery on Buffalo’s east side when they located two suspect vehicles traveling southwest on Broadway Road at high speed around 10:38 p.m.
Both vehicles failed to yield when deputies attempted a traffic stop and continued southbound at high speed.
The pursuit continued through three townships before the primary suspect vehicle was disabled in Little Valley after deputies successfully deployed spike strips.
Following a brief foot pursuit, deputies arrested Reese P. Corbeil, 19, of Tonawanda, and a 17-year-old juvenile from the disabled vehicle.
The secondary suspect vehicle was later located and complied with deputies during a traffic stop.
Deputies arrested the driver, Tylor E. Cramer, 24, of Tonawanda.
All three suspects were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office where they were processed and released with appearance tickets.
Corbeil and Cramer were charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in the third degree and issued multiple traffic tickets.
Cramer was released to a third party while Corbeil and the juvenile were transported to Springville and turned over to Buffalo police.
