SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested a 28-year-old Simsbury man Wednesday on charges stemming from a grocery store theft in May.
Nicholas Anderson was taken into custody at 10 a.m. Wednesday on an active arrest warrant, according to the South Windsor Police Department.
Anderson is charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the fourth degree and larceny in the fourth degree.
The charges stem from the theft of $1,586.81 worth of groceries from Stop & Shop at 1739 Ellington Road in May.
Anderson was processed and presented at Manchester Superior Court Thursday, as he was already in state custody for charges from other jurisdictions.
