SOMERVILLE — Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a fire that destroyed a home under construction on Thurston Street in August.
John Grasso, who is currently unhoused, was arrested on charges of wanton destruction of property and breaking and entering a building in the nighttime, according to a joint announcement from the Somerville Police Department, Somerville Fire Department and Massachusetts State Fire Marshal.
The fire occurred at 75 Thurston St. on Aug. 20.
The incident remains under investigation.
