STRAFFORD — A New Hampshire man was arrested Thursday morning on multiple warrants after Vermont State Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks were notified at 10:46 a.m. of a suspicious vehicle on Ames Road.
Officers located the vehicle and identified Kaiden Tobin, 21, of Enfield, New Hampshire, as one of the occupants.
Tobin was found to have an active misdemeanor arrest warrant in Vermont for simple assault on a protected professional with bodily injury and resisting arrest.
He also had multiple extraditable felony warrants out of New Hampshire for possession of controlled substances including crack cocaine and fentanyl and/or heroin.
Tobin was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $20,000 bail.
Vermont State Police were assisted by Upper Valley Ambulance and Vermont State Game Wardens.
