Randolph man arrested on retail theft, drug possession charges

RANDOLPH — Vermont State Police troopers responded to Kinney Drugs on North Main Street at 6:06 p.m. Sept. 2 for a report of a man attempting to purchase items with false tender.

Paul H. McPhetres, 37, a transient, was located by Randolph Police Department officers and taken into custody.

An investigation determined McPhetres had taken merchandise without payment and was in possession of a controlled substance.

McPhetres was issued a criminal citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court in Orange County on the retail theft and possession of controlled substance charges.
