EDEN — A 54-year-old man was cited for criminal threatening after allegedly confronting lawn care workers with a baseball bat Tuesday morning.
John K. Roessner IV of Eden was issued a citation following the 8:32 a.m. incident on Ober Hill Road.
State police from the Williston Barracks said members of a lawn care company had arrived at a residence to mow the lawn when Roessner exited his home carrying a baseball bat.
Police said Roessner threatened the workers, who then left the scene.
The victims were identified as Michael R. Shedd, 46, of Wolcott; Dakota Armstrong, 28, of Wolcott; and Tyson Lissor, 41, of Hardwick.
Roessner is scheduled to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m.
