BOSTON — Officers arrested a 23-year-old Boston man on firearm-related charges early Sunday morning after responding to a large party in Roxbury.
Devante Stinson was taken into custody at approximately 12:43 a.m. Aug. 31 in the area of Annunciation Road, according to the Boston Police Department.
Officers from District B-2 initially responded to reports of a large party and found more than 100 people drinking, smoking in public and playing loud music.
The crowd was so large that additional units from other districts were called to assist in clearing the area.

The officer retrieved the bag and discovered a firearm inside.
Multiple officers assisted in placing the suspect in handcuffs.
District detectives processed the weapon, which was identified as a Glock 21 with 14 rounds in the magazine.
Stinson is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
