Rhode Island state police report multiple arrests over weekend

LINCOLN WOODS — Rhode Island State Police arrested six people on various charges during a two-day period from Friday evening through early Saturday morning.

On Friday at 1:30 p.m., troopers arrested Wanda L. Warren, 56, of Providence, for identity fraud in the first offense.

The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation and Warren being arrested by the Providence Police Department.

Warren was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.

At 2:15 p.m. Friday, troopers arrested Donnell Kilgore, 32, of Providence, for disorderly conduct.

This arrest resulted from the Rhode Island Sheriffs reporting a disturbance that occurred in the cellblock at Sixth Division District Court.

Kilgore was taken into custody by the Rhode Island Sheriffs and transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment pending transport to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

At 9:28 p.m. Friday, troopers arrested Nestor Arrazola Diaz, 41, of Central Falls, for driving under the influence of liquor with BAC unknown in the first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test in the first offense.

This arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in Central Falls.

Diaz was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

At 10:30 p.m. Friday, troopers arrested Darrell Wilkerson, 51, of Providence, for an active affidavit and arrest warrant originating from the Providence Police Department on the original charge of disorderly conduct.

This arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in Providence.

Wilkerson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 12:00 a.m. Saturday, troopers arrested Luis Sousa, 55, of 87 Warren Avenue, Floor 1, Pawtucket, for an active affidavit and arrest warrant originating from the Pawtucket Police Department on the original charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

This arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in Pawtucket.

Sousa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.

At 2:32 a.m. Saturday, troopers arrested Shae Verville, 21, of Westport, Massachusetts, for an active Fourth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of simple assault.

This arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Cottage Street in Pawtucket.

Verville was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.

At 2:33 a.m. Saturday, troopers arrested Erica Garcia, 54, of Tiverton, for driving under the influence of liquor with BAC unknown in the second offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test in the first offense.

This arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street in Providence.

Garcia was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
