ALBANY — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 14 at approximately 8:53 a.m. Saturday.

William Anderson, 67, of Moodus, Connecticut, failed to yield right of way when turning from Town Highway 27 onto Route 14, according to police.

Anderson’s 2016 Ford F-150 was struck by a 2004 Toyota Tacoma driven by Normand Inkel, 48, of Albany, who was traveling south on Route 14.

Inkel swerved to avoid the collision but overturned in the roadway.

Anderson’s vehicle sustained front bumper damage while Inkel’s truck was totaled.

Neither driver reported injuries.

Anderson was wearing a seat belt while Inkel was not, police said.

Albany Fire Department responded to assist at the scene.

Road conditions were dry and weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.
