GATES — Police arrested three individuals early Friday morning following a pursuit of a stolen truck that began after a license plate reader in the Town of Greece alerted authorities.
Gates Police Department officers were notified of the stolen Ford F-250 around 8 a.m. on Aug. 29.
The vehicle was last seen heading south on Long Pond Road toward Gates.
Officers located the truck traveling westbound on Trolley Boulevard and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver did not comply.
The ensuing pursuit led officers through the west side of Rochester, into downtown, and ended at a driveway on Utica Place.
New York State Police and Rochester Police Department assisted in the pursuit.
The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Police apprehended the driver without incident and detained two other occupants.
The driver was identified as Paul Brown, 46, of Rochester.
Brown was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, fleeing police, operating with a suspended license, and multiple traffic violations.
Brown also had an active warrant from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
He was taken to Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
David Streber, 39, of Rochester, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Streber was identified as a nine-time convicted felon and was on parole for criminal possession of stolen property.
He was also transported to Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
Marissa Gallia, 29, of Rochester, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Gallia had three active warrants from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Police Department, and Waterloo Police Department.
She was taken to Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
No injuries occurred during the pursuit, and police say all three individuals were safely taken into custody.
