ROME — Officers from the Rome Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a reported burglary in progress at a commercial property located at 135 Mill Street at approximately 12:10 a.m. Thursday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals inside the building attempting to steal tools.
Following an investigation into this incident, both suspects were taken into custody.
The suspects have been identified as 35-year-old Edwin Sanchez-Baez and 29-year-old Angel L. Mulero-Baez.
Both individuals have been charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony.
