MONTGOMERY — Vermont State Police arrested a 37-year-old Richford man in connection with two burglaries on Deep Gibou Road.

Larry Garrow Jr. faces charges of burglary, unlawful mischief and operation without owner’s consent stemming from incidents on July 28.

Police received calls about two separate burglaries in Montgomery that day.

The first occurred at 1185 Deep Gibou Road, where an alarm system activated and the suspect fled the area.

The second burglary happened at 1852 Deep Gibou Road, where items including a Polaris four-wheeler were stolen from a camp.

Trail cameras in the area captured Garrow multiple times operating the stolen four-wheeler and a red GMC Sierra that was reported stolen the same morning from the Derby area, police said.

The victims were identified as Cheryl McGinnis of Colchester and Scott Johansen of Hinesburg.

Police were unable to locate Garrow initially, and an arrest warrant was issued Aug. 22.

He was taken into custody by St. Albans Police Department and lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility.

Garrow is scheduled to appear in Franklin County court and is being held on $1,500 bail.
