LANESBOROUGH — The Lanesborough Police responded to the area of Baglee Ave for reports of gunshots at approximately 9:17 p.m. Wednesday.
The caller stated one of the bullets was located inside their residence.
The caller reported the bullet went through a wall into the bedroom of the residence, where one of the residents was sleeping.
No injuries were reported.
Additional resources from the Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene and are assisting with investigation.
It is believed the gunshots originated from a motor vehicle, which was traveling on Bull Hill Rd towards Narragansett Ave.
Several gunshots can be heard on surveillance cameras in the area.
In addition to the first residence, damage was located to a vehicle and a garage in the area.
Residents are asked to check any cameras they might have, that could have recorded the incident or the involved vehicle.
If anyone locates any additional damage or evidence of this incident, police ask that they do not touch the item and call police immediately.
