WATERBURY — Troopers with the Berlin Barracks responded to a residence at 85 Tayer Ln on Aug. 27 at approximately 12:50 p.m. for a report of a simple assault.
Subsequent investigation revealed Deborah Talbot, 62, of Waterbury, committed burglary when she entered the residence belonging to Karmen Hatch, 44, of Waterbury, without permission.
While in the residence, Talbot committed simple assault against Hatch, police said.
Talbot was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
She was issued court ordered conditions of release and a citation to appear at Washington County Criminal Court on Aug. 28 at 12:30 p.m.
