South Windsor police make multiple arrests in domestic, probation cases

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested three individuals on various charges following separate incidents in town on August 26 and 27.

Jason A. Card, 46, of Meriden, was taken into custody at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday on an active arrest warrant.

Card is charged with harassment in the second degree, and violation of conditions of release in the second degree.

Police allege Card violated court-imposed conditions by texting a victim in July after a previous arrest for breach of peace.

He was processed and released on a $20,000 surety bond.

Card is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on September 10 at 9 a.m.

Charlene Smith, 39, of South Windsor, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday following a domestic violence incident.

Police say Smith forcibly took a phone from the victim, initiating a physical confrontation.

Smith was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court today at 9 a.m.

Felipe A. Dacunha, 36, of Hartford, was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday on two active violation of probation warrants.

Dacunha was processed and released on a $5,000 surety bond for the first warrant.

He is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on September 11 at 9 a.m.

Dacunha was released on a court set promise to appear for the second warrant.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on September 10 at 9 a.m.
