ROCKINGHAM — Vermont State Police responded to a report of domestic assault on Upper Bartonsville Road at approximately 10:48 a.m. on Aug. 27.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks determined that Nikolas Rowley, 42, of Rockingham, had committed the offense of domestic assault.
Rowley was taken into custody and later released with conditions.
He was issued a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division, at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 to answer to the charge of domestic assault.
The name of the victim was not released due to policies regarding cases of sexual assault and domestic violence.
