HORSEHEADS — A 55-year-old Horseheads man was arrested Tuesday for harassment following a domestic disturbance in the Town of Veteran.
Miner A. Curtis was charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Curtis was arraigned by Veteran Town Court, where an order of protection was issued, and he was released.
In a separate incident, Paul B. Hatala, 47, of Elmira was arrested Wednesday for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
The arrest followed a report of suspicious conditions in the City of Elmira.
Hatala was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Elmira City Court at a later date.
