WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 25-year-old Pawtucket man on a domestic assault warrant Tuesday evening.
Andrew Sousa of 55 Legris Avenue was taken into custody at 5:05 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Tollgate Road.
Sousa was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic simple assault and battery originating from the North Smithfield Police Department.
He was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing before being turned over to North Smithfield police.
