CORNWALL — A 29-year-old Whitehall, New York man has been identified as the suspect who allegedly stole a leaf blower while making an Amazon delivery on Parkhill Road.
Bert Clement was identified thanks to tips from the public, according to Vermont State Police.
A citation for petit larceny is pending service for Clement.
Troopers responded to the theft report at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the residence of Robert Knippler, 58, of Cornwall.
Investigation revealed the delivery driver stole a leaf blower after delivering a package to the home.
Police had initially requested public assistance in identifying the driver shown in surveillance video.
