Auburn man arrested for theft at Sennett Lowe’s store

AUBURN — A 38-year-old Auburn man was arrested Aug. 21 on charges of stealing merchandise from a Lowe’s store in the town of Sennett.

Joshua A. LaClair turned himself in on a warrant for petit larceny, a misdemeanor, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.

Deputies were notified Aug. 8 of a larceny at the Lowe’s store at 299 Grant Ave Road.

An investigation determined that LaClair had stolen merchandise from the store, leading deputies to apply for an arrest warrant.

LaClair was arraigned at centralized arraignment and released with a future court date in Sennett Town Court.
