Fishkill man shot on Pappas Lane, treated for non-life-threatening injuries

FISHKILL — The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Pappas Lane in the Town of Fishkill at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 23.

The shooting involves one male victim who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh before later being transferred to Westchester Medical Center.

The shooting is not believed to be a random act and there appears to be no danger to the general public.

The investigation is continuing by the Sheriff’s Office’s Detective Bureau.
