2 arrested on drug charges after traffic stop in Olean

OLEAN — Two Cuba residents were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Brieanne M. Jordan, 29, was taken into custody at approximately 2:41 a.m.

Jonathan C. Pasquale, 39, was arrested at approximately 2:52 a.m.

Pasquale was pulled over on North 3rd Street due to multiple vehicle and traffic law infractions, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

During the traffic stop, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle next to Jordan.

Jordan provided deputies with two baggies containing a quantity of suspected crack cocaine that she had concealed in her bra.

A subsequent vehicle search revealed a quantity of suspected crack cocaine belonging to Pasquale and acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate pills belonging to Jordan.

Deputies also found multiple burnt pieces of tinfoil, a glass pipe with residue, a cut straw with residue and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.

Jordan was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

Pasquale was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended or revoked, failure to signal and illegal signal.

Both were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Olean City Court at a later date.
