NORTH HAVEN — A 25-year-old North Haven man was arrested Aug. 22 on charges related to sexually explicit communications with a juvenile through social media platforms.
Christian Senberg was charged with risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor following an investigation that began in early August.
North Haven detectives were contacted by a Virginia-based law enforcement agency regarding an internet crimes case involving a juvenile victim.
The investigation revealed that the suspect had used social media platforms to engage in sexually explicit communications with a juvenile.
Following a comprehensive investigation, North Haven detectives identified Senberg as the suspect.
The North Haven Police Department said it collaborates with agencies nationwide to protect juveniles across the country.
Police emphasized the importance of parents and guardians monitoring juveniles’ use of social media applications.
