PROVIDENCE — Members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Alex Briggs, age 29, of Newport, on Aug. 21.
Briggs was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for fraudulent use of credit card originating from the Middletown Police Department.
He also faced an affidavit and arrest warrant for obstruction originating from the Jamestown Police Department.
Briggs was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Middletown Police Department on scene.
Members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force also arrested Anthony Welchman, age 39, of Warwick, on Aug. 21.
Welchman was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Warwick Police Department for domestic kidnapping, domestic breaking and entering, and domestic violation of no contact order.
Welchman was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
Members of the ACI Investigations and Intelligence Units arrested Kimberly McArthur, age 32, of Providence, on Aug. 21.
McArthur was charged with conveyance of unauthorized articles to and from institution and conspiracy.
McArthur was arraigned in Third Division Court, where she was granted $5,000 surety bail.
