OLEAN — Two men were arrested on drug and gun charges after police executed a search warrant at an apartment at 109 W. Green St.
Jerry Harris, 54, of Buffalo, and Daniel Price, 40, of Olean, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a felony, for possessing more than 4 ounces of methamphetamine.
Both men also face charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, for possessing more than 1 ounce of crack cocaine.
They were additionally charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a felony, for possession of a semi-automatic shotgun.
The arrests followed an investigation by the Street Crimes unit into drug sales at the apartment.
The search warrant was served by the Emergency Response Team.
Police also seized cash, ammunition and other drug paraphernalia during the search.
Price was arrested on an unrelated outstanding indictment warrant for charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both felonies.
The Street Crimes Unit was assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Harris and Price were held for arraignment in Olean City Court.
