HARRIETSTOWN — Christopher G. Chiosa, 53, of Lake Clear, was arrested by New York State Police on Aug. 20 for third-degree burglary, criminal mischief and second-degree criminal contempt.
Troopers responded to a complaint about a violation of an order of protection on Norton Road at approximately 1:54 p.m.
The investigation revealed that Chiosa had entered the property, intentionally damaged the garage door and entered the garage without permission.
Further inquiry confirmed that a stay-away order was in effect, prohibiting Chiosa from being on the property.
Following the investigation, Chiosa was arrested and taken to SP Ray Brook for processing.
He was arraigned at the Town of Harrietstown Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond and $20,000 partially secured bond.
