CAMDEN — A 56-year-old Camden man was arrested Thursday on charges of possessing sexually explicit materials involving children.
Thomas Karod was taken into custody without incident after a judge approved an arrest warrant requested by the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit.
Karod faces one count of possession of sexually explicit materials, a class C felony.
The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation by state police.
The Damariscotta and Camden police departments assisted with the arrest.
